Our Founder

Garfield A. Neal (Gary)
Founder & President
Garfield is the son of immigrant parents who came to the United States in search of a better life for their children. He earned a scholarship from Lawrence High School, attending UMass Lowell for a Bachelor's in Business Administration. After relocating to Florida, a scholarship led him to the police academy, where he served his community for 24 years, retiring as an executive within his local police department. This enduring commitment to creating access and opportunity led to the founding of People Supporting People Inc.

Scholarship Spotlight
ScholarshipsLawrence High Scholarship
Congratulations to Nixon DeLeon, our first scholarship recipient! Nixon is a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 2026, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and will be attending Worcester State University for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Nixon believes that success is not measured by wealth but by a strong work ethic, integrity, and growth from his experiences as he works towards his goals. He is aware that some of his experiences may not have a desired outcome, but he understands that all of his experiences make him the person he is.
We are honored to support Nixon as he begins the next chapter in life and pursues his educational goals. We wish him continued success in his studies and all the best in his future endeavors. We will be here for you as you continue your journey.
What People Say
“Garfield has had an amazing impact on me by not only helping me be a leader in cross country and track but also helping shape me into a better person that doesn't give up even when things get hard. I met Coach Gary through the Track team at Pasco High School as a sophomore in 2022, and I had no idea track and field would become such an important part of my life — something I still compete in today at Barry University. In the start I was not that good, getting last in every 800m race, but Coach Gary saw something in me that I didn't see in myself: the passion, drive, and willingness to not give up. Through every loss we developed a saying, "new feelings" — whether a race went good or bad, the outcome would just be a new feeling, and I could still be proud that I gave my best effort.”
